Cláudia Amandi

Cláudia Amandi nasceu no Porto, 1968. Ao longo dos anos, o seu trabalho como artista plástica foi convergindo para processos de repetição, interessando-se particularmente por aqueles que, na sua aparência mecânica de execução, deslocam o referente do resultado. Ações como aglomeração, variação, expansão, saturação e sobreposição de marcas e/ou materiais vão construindo malhas, imagens, matérias diferenciadas como sistemas de multiplicação de conteúdos. É Professora Auxiliar do Departamento de Desenho da Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto (FBAUP) e Membro Integrado no Instituto de Investigação em Arte, Design e Sociedade (I2ADS). Desenvolve trabalho de investigação na área do Desenho, ações e métodos de trabalho no processo criativo, e nos cruzamentos entre a escultura e o desenho. Doutorou-se pela FBAUP em 2010 com a tese intitulada Funções e Tarefas do Desenho no Processo Criativo, um estudo sobre o papel do desenho no processo artístico atual.   Cláudia Amandi was born in Porto, 1968.
