Mireia Luna Soler

The young pianist develops her artistic activity as a soloist and in chamber music groups performing in different places of Spain, Portugal, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark and Finland. She has been invited to perform at different events such as the Cycle of Young Performers organised by “CulturArts”, Gijón International Piano Festival or the International Piano Cycle “The Piano Speaks” organised by Numen at the University of Alicante. She has received distinctions such as the First Prize in “Melos” International Competition (Rome), Second Prize in “Ruperto Chapí” competition, Finalist of the scholarship “Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe”, “AIE” scholarship from the Society of Artists, Performers and Executants of Spain, “CulturArts” scholarship from the Spanish government and a scholarship to study with Louis Lortie from the “Académie musicale de Villecroze” (France).

Mireia studied her Bachelor’s degree on classical piano at the Music Conservatory of Murcia with pianist Antonio Narejos. During these years she moved to Helsinki to continue developing and perfecting herself at Sibelius Academy together with pianist Ilmo Ranta. Between 2015 and 2017, she studied a Master in Solo Performance at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels with Boyan Vodenitcharov. Her tireless curiosity and interest in piano literature has encouraged her to complete her training both nationally and internationally, highlighting masterclasses with Luca Chiantore at Musikeon and with Björn Lehman at Berlin University of the Arts. Since 2017 she studies under the guidance of Manuel Araújo and maestro Aquiles delle Vigne in his “Academia Internacional de Música” in Coimbra.

Her great interest in pedagogy and research led her to complete a Master’s degree in Teacher Training at the University of Elche and a Master’s degree in Musical Research at the International University of Valencia. After a period of three years in a Piano Accompanist Chair at the Music Conservatory of Alicante, in 2021 she obtained a position as a piano teacher at the Music Conservatory of Almansa. Among her projects for 2022, it is worth mentioning the premiere of her solo piano recital “Reflejos del Sur”.
