Pavel Tavares (31) is a Brazilian filmmaker, resident in Portugal. Image and Sound Designer by the FADU-UBA (Argentina), highlighted as a student and teacher by the Rectorship (2015-16-17-18). Participant of VGKI Summer School 2015, Talents (BAFICI) 2017, Looking China 2017 scholarship, Young Art Biennial 2017, Flaherty 2018 (NY) seminar, UTDT Cinema Program 2018. He made the documentaries Jasy Porã, Alexander, The Last Small Village and the feature film Ojo de Mar. His installations and videoart works were exhibited in different festivals and galleries around the world . Currently working on different experimental projects about immigration, and the relation between land, body and temporality.
